Topic: University of Kentucky Dining Services I found this article at http://uky.campusdish.com.this article didn't have a publisher and gets update on a regular bases to inform you what is new to the dining services.

Summary: University of Kentucky Dining Services is for students to experience apart of the college life. Student would receive a meal plan that will get them a meal at anywhere on campus they would like. You get to meet new people at different places that you may have in commons and you  might also run into a friend so you won't eat alone. University of Kentucky has a lot of places on campus that you might really enjoy. The thing about it is that you have to pick between several meal plans that might fit you the best. The dining Service tries to make the students eat green. They support farmers because they feel that is important. They also change the menu according to the season so the students can eat the best local and fresh foods

Questions/Reflections:University of Kentucky Dining Services. Why do some places have a time when you can use your meal plan?? I feel like we pay a lot of money already to eat so we should be able to use our meal swipes when ever and save the flex for the pantry. Why isn't food included in our tuition? University of Kentucky tuition is a lot for us the students to also have to pay for food sometimes i think they just get us for anything like laundry we have to also pay for that and we can't use our flex dollars or plus .... don't you think that is a little crazy i mean we are still college students trying to stay in college. I feel like because of these cost is one reason why people don't go to college because it cost a lot.

Topics: University of Kentucky Wildcat Service Dogs. I found this article at http://www.kentucky.com/2012/12/31/2460542/students-make-university-of-kentucky.html. The publisher is Linda B. Blackford on December 31, 2012. I decided to blog about thous article and find more information after hearing a classmate talk about it.

Summary-Topic:University of Kentucky Wildcat Service Dogs. I found this article to be very interesting because they decided to do their own dog care organization. Students are to train the dog to become a service dog. The students must take the dog everywhere they go. The dogs have to learn how to be serious that it isn't really time to play and they learn this as a puppy. The trainers don't cuddle or get the dogs excited for things because they have to learn to adapt to their surrounding and not get overly excited to new things. Katie Sharvan was a sophomore at University of Kentucky and decided how she wanted to be more involved with training them. University of Kentucky approved here organization and they now have 6 trainers and 20 students to help. The Wildcat dogs usually stay with their student trainers for 12-18 months. The train dogs are really valuable. Katie once sold a dog for 20,000 dollars.Service dogs are not guide dog. Service dogs help the sick or disabled with a multitude of problems for example physical disabilities, illnesses or disorders such as autism.

Questions/Reflection:University of Kentucky Wildcat Service Dogs. After really reading this article this has made me really wish people would show equal attention to  both organizations. 4 Paws for Ability mostly focuses on children while Wildcat Service Dogs focuses on all ages. Why don't they just come together as one? I feel as if they come together as one it would be a more profit organization because even though they both are similar they still have different focuses on things. Is it harder keeping up with organization because of 4 Paws for Ability? I feel like this organization would be harder to keep up with because they most people really don't know about them as well as 4 Paws for Ability so they would get less help and less funding. I feel as if they should come together so they can get the same help and they can also split the funding .

Reflection Blog
Ms.Lopez

My reflection on my documentary. When I begin to right I find myself really getting involved in my writing and really expressing how I feel. My writing process for the formal proposal was to really hit the key point so that the readers would be informed but also interested. I use the strategy for mostly all my papers but now that I am in college it is time to switch things up. Writing this paper has made me learned more things from my teacher and peers that would really help me in the future with more  papers. I feel like that way I adapted to turning it into the Shark Tank presentation was just okay it wasn't what I would have liked it to be so I give myself and okay job.  It was a little awkward because two people has done the same organization so I really didn't want to bore them. I feel like my strengths in the writing proposal is that I had a good introduction and I gave good information to the readers about that organization and the history of the organization. The strength in my presentation was my visual I believe that I had good pictures. I also believe I was really good on eye contact I wasn't always looking down and very good on speaking I wasn't quite I was just right. My weakness in my paper I'm really not that sure because I haven't heard back from my teacher but I hope it isn't a lot. I recognized my weakness in my presentation which was that I went to fast and I didn't give a lot of information like I should have but that is because for the first time I got nervous which really isn't like me because I love presentation but then again I also had a rough morning but I was disappointed at myself because I was really nervous for no reason but since I know what I messed up at now so for my next presentation I WILL ACE ITTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Topic:Campus Kitchen at University of Kentucky I found this article at www2.ca.uky.edu. it doesn't have a true publisher but it is created by the college of agriculture. This website is updated regularly. I found this website my looking into what Kentucky had to offer for students to give back.

Summary-Topic:Campus Kitchen at University of Kentucky
After researching mrs about Campus Kitchen at University of Kentucky I found that this organization is a great way to give back to the homeless. Their main purpose is to recover food and donate it back to those in need. They deliver meals through the community and across the globe. Donating food to all the local food charities in lexington is a big thing. Since the recession peoples income has went down and some became homeless so for them to tie food back helps a lot because food cost a lot to a big family. This organization started in 2003 but didn't start until April,2014 at University of Kentucky.  The Department of Dietetics and Human Nutrition helped start this organization with faculty support. They are partners with on- campus hunger organizations and also with the Big Blue Pantry which is a food pantry for students.

Question/Reflection-Topic:Campus Kitchen at University of Kentucky
I feel like their is a lot of children and adults out her starving because they don't have money to eat for them to give food back is a big way to help. Homeless people always ask for money to eat and this is way to know that they are really eating and not wasting the money on something else. The food pantry helps a lot of people in my eyes because I have seen people beg for food and now they can just go to the pantry. Why did this organization just start this year?? Did hunger not matter as much?

Topic:Best Buddies at University of Kentucky. I found this article at bestbudieskentucky.org.
they get updated regularly and they don't have a publisher. I found this organization under student involvement on University of Kentucky website.

Summary-Topic: Best Buddies at University of Kentucky
Best Buddies is a organization where students all around the world gets to involved with people with disability. This organization is world wide they are participated in each 50 states. This organization is to help change the world simply by making new friends. This is a get opportunity to learn leadership skills by volunteering. This shows the world that it doesn't matter if you are different in ways of other we are all one when it comes to loving one another. This founded in 1989 by Anthony K. Shriver who presented this to his college peers so they can expand the organization.

Questions/Reflections: Topics:Best Buddies at University of Kentucky
I feel this is a great organization because it makes us as one. Some disability children question why they aren't normal and why people look at them different this shows them that everyone is different in their own ways. It also gives people a way to learn how to be a leader. It is amazing how this organization is in all 50 states.

Topic: 4 Paws for ability at University of Kentucky. I found this article at uk4paws.wix.com. It didn't have a publisher and gets updated regularly. I found this program by talking to a young lady on how she got the dog and why and wanted to look more into the organization.

Summary-Topic:4 Paws for ability at University of Kentucky
After researching more about this program I found it to be very interesting and heart warming. 4 Paws for ability is a program that teaches students how to get involved in community service and also have fun while doing it. Students at University of Kentucky are allowed to take the puppies everywhere they go classes, out to eat, shopping and more. The dog already comes knowing the basic commands. Their job is to help the dogs adapt to their surroundings.  I feel that letting students socialize a service dog  for someone in need is a great way to give back that is why this program is so heart warming. Some people don't have the time to train a dog to become social but for this program to let students help is a great thing and helps a lot of people not just the ones in need. This program was founded in 1998 by Karen  Shirk after she tried unsuccessfully for years to obtain a service dog.  Karen dreamed of a place where applicants for service dogs were not judged based on severity of disability and set out to start her own organization. Her dream became the large, thriving, respected nonprofit program. They place the dogs with children and they never turn them down like traditional service dog programs.

Questions/ Reflections-Topic:4 Paws for ability
This organization really meant something to me because they don't deny any children they make sure all get what they need. I question why these traditional organizations have so many rules and where do they cut off at? How can you tell which child needs it more and which ones don't if they are all in need? It makes you think more about our world and do they really care about those in need. In my eyes Karen is a hero because she took a risk to help others in need like herself

Topic:Center for Academic Resources and Enrichment Services(CARES) at University of Kentucky, As I was going through their information page I spotted a picture that amused me. This picture can be found at http://www.uky.edu/Diversity/contacts.html. It doesn't give a photograph name or date because the site is updated daily.

Summary-Topic:Center for Academic Resources and Enrichment Services(CARES)The Center for Academic Resources and Enrichment Services is based on diversity. Diversity plays a big part in University of Kentucky it is Goal IV of University Strategic Plan: Promote Diversity and Inclusion. This picture shows what all come together to make diversity as one whole. The University of Kentucky wants all their student from all over to feel like family. Center for Academic Resources and Enrichment Services has some responsibility of making this university divers. They target people from all over the world who comes to University of Kentucky to join. They provide them with support systems to help them achieve their goals and to show others they help all. Gender, variety, religion, income, race, status, education, sexuality, unity is what diversity is about what the CARES program teaches and more. But as you can see their are a lot of things that make up diversity and people are the ones who make up diversity.

Question/Reflection-Topics:Center for Academic Resources and Enrichment Services(CARES)
Diversity means to me the world coming together as one because we are all so different but we still are one as a whole. I feel strongly on diversity because I feel as though it plays a big role in our world if you don't know how to adjust to different surrounding you will be stuck. Diversity comes into play with that because it shows you all what is out here in the world the people, places, things, and personalities. I do have a few questions about this picture. Why is Income on there? I feel like Income  is separating you from others. Why should people need to know your income? Why should yo come together on your income? I would feel like a outcast because it is offensive to me because I shouldnt have to come together with others because of income that I feel is private. I feel it is private because a lot of people judge you on what kind of money you have.

Well that is all for tonight/today I hope you enjoyed but it will also be great if I you can inform me on how I did thanks......

Topic:Center for Academic Resources and Enrichment Services(CARES) at University of Kentucky. I found this article at http://www.uky.edu/Diversity/CARES/ it didn't have a publisher. This site gets updated daily. I am a member of this group so I thought it would be a good idea to write about it and find out more information.

Summary-Topic:Center for Academic Resources and Enrichment Services(CARES)
After Researching more about Center for Academic Resources and Enrichment Services I found it to be very interesting because this program is very focused on helping students finish college and understand their classes. They provide study groups for your classes so you can get hands on learning. I like the fact they help freshmen through seniors because most programs stop after freshmen year. they thing that students will be able to understand what is going on after the first year which isn't true because classes can get harder as you go forward in college and guidance is always helpful. History about them is that they start in 1978. They were established to address the serious concern regarding student retention. They make sure diversity is one of their priorities because hey want everyone to feel like they can get help. Over the years they strive to get diversity up and increase the graduation rates. They love to get students involved in enrichment activities to make them a better leader.

Question/Reflection-Topics:Center for Academic Resources and Enrichment Services(CARES)
This program has really helped a lot of students get better grades and become a better person. I, myself am happy that I'm in this program because I feel as though this program will open so many doors for me and other who attend. I feel as though University of Kentucky should really give more thanks to the Center for Academic Resources and Enrichment Services because they are giving the school a better look when graduations rates are going up. I do however have a few unanswered questions. Why don't they travel to other colleges in Kentucky to better help everyone? I feel like this would be a better look on the whole world and they can really make a name for themselves for helping all college student. How many members did they start off with and how much do they increase each month?

Well that is it for today I hope you enjoyed and let me know if you liked it......
